Improvised Shakespeare
Improvised comedy show in the theme of William Shakespeare performed in Estonian.
About the project
Currently, the show runs for 20 minutes, but our goal is to expand it to 45–60 minutes plus an intermission by September. We are workshopping and refining it at Ruutu10 Õppelava, and throughout the summer, we plan to test it at open-air events across Estonia.
We complement existing atmospheres, blending into medieval-themed venues.
Combined half a century’s worth of previous experience in improvisation and rhyming. Ruutu10’s established structure and theatre house allows us to test the show on small-audience performances before we start selling the product.
Target audience
Our show is designed for those who love medieval culture. We aim to provide shows for:
- Medieval restaurants – Collaboration with Restaurant Maikrahv – 1 show planned for spring.
- Medieval Days and Hansa Päevad – In contact with Pärnu Hansapäevad organizers, who are interested in the idea.
- Medieval castles and mansions – Negotiations with Mäetaguse Manor – Planning a performance for September.
We are actively expanding our network to bring our show to authentic medieval settings!
